How does it work?
NCE Seafood Innovation facilitates the program. This includes recruitment of candidates together with professional recruitment partner Dfind and planning four 3-day modules packed with inspirational learning about the seafood industry.
Thematically the program covers the entire seafood value chain, research and technology, sales and marketing, and new trends and value chains. Sustainability is the common thread throughout.
Capacities from a broad range of industry businesses, as well as public administration and R&D institutions, contribute to the academic content. Trainees also visit production sites during the modules.
What do I have to do?
The following requirements apply to Seafood Trainee companies in the recruitment process:
- Decide on the number of trainees you would like to recruit
- Provide a candidate description for each trainee position
- Hold interviews with the candidates selected for each position
Dfind runs the campaign to attract trainee applicants, selects 5 candidates for each position according to your description and requirements. Dfind also secures a professional communication with candidates.

What does it cost?
- Cluster partners and members attain program participation for free or at a reduced cost. This is subject to the type of membership.
- Non-members are charged the full program cost of NOK 55.000 + VAT for each trainee.
- Recruitment costs of NOK 25.000 + VAT per trainee apply to all.
