It is of considerable urgency for the aquaculture industry and the system developers of camera-based sea lice counting to enter the market as soon as possible.  The Norwegian Food Safety Authority has developt guidelines on how to apply for tests using in full-scale aquaculture sites.  In order to satisfy the guidelines, all companies applying to use their systems must provide the same documentation.

For the fish farmers, it is of great importance to be able to evaluate the different suppliers by the same rules to facilitate this.

The Seafood Innovation Cluster invites to a kick-off workshop where we want to start the work to develop common guidelines for verification, as well as discuss other aspects that are of common interest to meet the needs of the fish farmers.
