Welcome to the first meeting of the CFO and Finance Manager Forum for the Seafood Industry
A meeting point for insight and exchange of experiences
The aquaculture industry is in the midst of a technological transformation where artificial intelligence, increased digitalization and a more complex risk picture are creating new opportunities and demands.
On November 26th, we will focus on how the finance function can create value through technology, data-driven decisions and effective risk management. Together, we will explore practical uses of AI, the status of the industry's digitalization journey, learning points from cyber incidents and how the finance function can strengthen its strategic role in an increasingly volatile industry.
The forum will be an exclusive meeting place that brings together leaders in the seafood industry for professional discussions and exchange of experiences on topics that shape the future of the industry. The forum facilitates open and confidential conversations about finance, technology, risk and value creation, where participants gain new perspectives, build relationships and learn from each other's experiences.
During the first session we will explore:
- AI for the finance function
- AI in practice in the aquaculture industry – using AI for better decisions
- The aquaculture industry – where is it in terms of digitalization? Finger on the pulse
- The CFO's role in cyberattacks and learning points from Cyberattacks
- Experience exchange and discussion: Learn from each other's best practices and explore solutions together
You will hear from:
- Ibrahim Pelja, Deloitte
- Kristian Blom, Tidal
- Emil Lindfors, Fractal
- Sander Gangdal, Deloitte
Practical information:
The forum is a collaboration between Seafood Innovation and Deloitte. It is designed as an arena for open conversations, exchange of experiences and professional discussions, both in groups and in plenary. Everything shared in the forum stays in the room, so that participants can discuss current challenges and opportunities with openness and trust.
Each company can send up to two participants per meeting. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send a representative or invite a colleague who is interested in the topics to be discussed.
Light refreshments will be served upon arrival. Please let us know if you have allergies, are unable to participate, or do not wish to be served, so that we can help reduce food waste.
The assets are held at Deloitte at Lars Hilles gate 30 (Media City Bergen), tower 2, Green Floor, 14th floor. One of our colleagues will welcome you at the reception from 8:00 a.m. and accompany you to the premises.
Please contact Trude Jansen Hagland ( trude@seafoodinnovation.no ) or Jill Osa-Svanberg ( josa@deloitte.no ) if you have any questions, both practical and professional, or if you do not want any more invitations from us.
Our ambition is to contribute to increased insight, stronger networks and better decision-making for financial managers in the seafood industry.
