Bergen is once again filled with activities, knowledge and experiences when One Ocean Week invites you to an entire week dedicated to the ocean and its possibilities. Through conferences, exhibitions, family activities, professional meeting places and outdoor events, sustainable ocean management is put on the agenda.
The week opens on Saturday, April 18th with a welcoming ceremony and reception by Statsraad Lehmkuhl , family activities at Festningskaien and several open exhibitions, including the student exhibition Message in a Bottle about the Sea and the art installation Toxic Beauty .
The program continues day by day with educational programs, professional seminars, workshops and engaging activities for both children and adults.
One Ocean Week is part of the UN Decade of Ocean Research and brings together stakeholders from research, business, the public sector and civil society.
