Workshop: From insight to practice – how to use immune knowledge in production?

QuantiDoc, in collaboration with NCE Seafood, invites you to a workshop for those who want to delve deeper into how immune control can be used operationally in hatchery production.

The workshop builds on the topics from the conference and takes the discussion from insight to practical application. We look more closely at how immune responses can be interpreted as early biological signals, and how this is related to environment, nutrition, system load and risk in production.

The workshop is led by Björgólfur Hávarðsson. Björgólfur Hávarðsson has over 30 years' experience from the aquaculture industry and will contribute both practical perspectives and discussion around how immune control can be translated into better production management.

Hot food and drinks will be served during the workshop.

Program

  • Seed fish in practice – experiences, variation and consequences in production, Rune Sandvik, Erko Seed fish
  • Fremtidens landbaserte akvakultur – storsmolt, nye produksjonsmodeller og perspektiver. William Harris, Stim
