kontali_topp –Always prepared!
Where: Kristiansund
When: Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th November 2017
This year, Kontali focuses on how fish farmers can be prepared for known and unknown challenges. Show examples of how they are prepared, but also challenge this in the same way. Is everything in place? Is the preparedness good enough? Are the right tools being used?
We gain insight into various forecasting tools in preventive fish health and welfare work.
Cage technology and improvement of fish farming boats today, and development of tomorrow's standards.
We also delve into large smolt production. Opportunities but also challenges. What everyday life on the edge of the cage is like today. What can those who are going into the industry expect in terms of tasks and challenges?
We also look into solutions to create good working conditions and prevent unwanted incidents such as escapes.
New this year is that Sett Sjøbein will be hosting a student bootcamp based in Kristiansund. We offer a great arena to make connections so that the industry can be further prepared for the future.
