Moving to Tromsø
Hulda Bysheim comes from the position as a specialist advisor and head of the fish health team at the Norwegian Food Safety Authority South and West. She is a veterinarian and has extensive experience with fish health-related work such as zone planning and sea lice control. She will move to Tromsø at the end of April/beginning of May and will have an office in Kystens Hus. Hulda will be primarily responsible for MSD Animal Health's customer follow-up in the three northernmost counties.
Trondheim as a base
Siri Gåsnes has been hired as Account Manager and will strengthen the Midt Norway team. She will be based in Trondheim and, together with regional manager Hogne Bleie, will provide customer follow-up and product support in the region. Siri graduated as a veterinarian in 2014 and has worked with small animals since then. Siri will also participate in Norway's first Seafood Trainee program under the auspices of NCE Seafood, starting in September.
Region West increased in 2015
This fall, MSD Animal Health strengthened its West region, which stretches from Agder to Møre. Team leader Niels Petter Maaseide, together with Linda Melstveit and Stein Johannessen, are responsible for customer follow-up in the region. They work closely with the rest of the customer team and product manager Ingebjørg Sævareid.
– Many of our customers use us as advisors and discussion partners on fish health. That is why it is important that we have a large capacity. That is the reason why we have chosen to increase our staffing with more veterinarians and other professionals in the past year, says Johan Kvalheim.
