We have organized the very first Inspiration and Innovation Lunch for the members of NCE Seafood!

This is a new meeting place for professional development, knowledge sharing and networking with the goal of highlighting important insights the industry needs.

We want these lunches to have a strong professional program that both inspires and provides concrete tools, while creating an arena where members can meet and build relationships. Over 60 participants were registered, and we had a great turnout!

🔍 This time, the topic: What do fish tell us – and how can we become better at using data?

Highlights from the day:
🐟 Martin Munkeby ( CageEye ) showed how salmon's behavior after lice treatment can be tracked with sonar.
🐟 Anders Storebø ( Lerøy Seafood øy) shared how his own data provides valuable insight into production.
🐟 Nanna Kristine Ringstad ( NMBU – Norwegian University of Life Sciences ) explained how important it is to correctly classify the cause of death after delousing – and presented research showing that strokes can be caused by blows during handling.
🐟 Björgólfur Hávarðsson ( AquaCloud ) highlighted how common data standards and sharing make the industry better together.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and participated, and a big thank you to Lerøy Seafood who provided sushi for everyone!

We are already looking forward to the next lunch in September!! 🤩
