Being granted NCE status is a strong recognition of the cluster's work and results, and the organization is now ready to continue the work of realizing our strategy and ambitions in the area of innovation. As an innovation broker, you will be responsible for increasing cluster collaboration and establishing a strong foundation for user-driven innovation. The right candidate understands why it is important to communicate and create good collaborative relationships in the cluster.
With the NCE initiative, your goal will be to help coordinate and disseminate information about existing and planned projects, as well as facilitate collaboration within the cluster and between cluster actors and external environments. You will also help members access various sources of innovation funding. The position will contribute to expanding the companies' overall R&D capacity in prioritized areas, and trigger more funding for the implementation of innovation projects in the cluster.
Main tasks
Research dissemination
Promote increased innovation in companies through better research dissemination and facilitate closer collaboration between cluster members, suppliers and other leading knowledge actors
Cultivate innovation projects by promoting stronger collaboration between industry and research environments
Evaluate research initiatives, look for good knowledge connections and create more synergies across cluster members
Assist member companies in designing innovation projects
Drafting project applications to Innovation Norway, the Research Council of Norway and the EU
Guide partners regarding various public and private support schemes and financing solutions
Design and deliver lectures and arrange thematic meetings in various national and international forums
Qualifications
Higher education, Master's or PhD.
Good knowledge of process management and understanding of commissioned research
Experience from the seafood industry, preferably from aquaculture
Knowledge and experience with financial framework conditions and granting authorities, nationally and internationally
Good oral and written presentation skills, in Norwegian and English
High work capacity, strategic and analytical thinking
Some travel is expected
