The course is for you who:
- Interested in making aquaculture more sustainable?
- Are a farmer or employee in the aquaculture industry?
- Works in the service industry and handles farming equipment

Have you noticed how much plastic you handle every day?
The Norwegian aquaculture industry is a major consumer of plastic, and fisheries and farming account for 46% of the identifiable marine plastic pollution in Norway.
Some of this equipment ends up as plastic waste in the ocean.
If handled and treated correctly, this plastic can almost always be recycled and turned into other things.
