Accelerating the competency for professionals new to the seafood industry.

What is Seafood Next?

To secure sustainable growth to the seafood industry, there is a constant need for knowledge to support the development in the seafood value chain. Knowledge sharing and talent development are key factors to our partners to increase the ability and knowledge to use and apply the latest technologies to be able to take action on sustainable growth.

To support the need for knowledge, NCE Seafood Innovation has developed the competence program called Seafood Next. It is an international competence program for professionals new to the seafood industry.

Seafood Next focuses on sustainable growth and innovation throughout the seafood value chain. Through the program the participants will meet leading actors in the seafood industry, visiting fish farms and hatcheries and get insight about the most important mega trends in the industry.

Professionals new to the industry

The Seafood Next program is open to anyone who wants to further develop their insight and knowledge of the global seafood industry, with different expertise, education and competence.

Seafood Next is a one-year program, where you will participate in four three-day modules.

The modules serve as a meeting platform for exchange of experience and together with social activities you will build and important network for your future career in the industry.

In addition to the four physical modules, you will gain access to Blue Planet Academy, a leading digital e-learning platform within aquaculture.
