We would like to take the opportunity to thank all who shared the last two days with us, and especially to all our partners and contributors for making the Summit a success.
So, what are the take home messages from this years’ Summit?
The opportunities that lie in our oceans will not be realized by themselves. But we can seize the opportunities by new forms of cross-sector collaboration.
The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the UNs Sustainability Goals provide us with a roadmap for the future we want. What we now need, is effective and concerted actions.
This will require investment in innovation, and we have no time to lose. We can only succeed by collaboration. The Seafood Innovation Cluster has committed business, science and government to a longstanding and binding sustainable partnership.
In our response, lies opportunities for value creation that will demonstrate Norway’s Seafood leadership and shape our sustainable business future.
