After lunch, we had cutting-edge startups pitching on the scene for an audience award.
This year, Tracio from Iceland won the Seafood Innovation Award 2020. This includes business consulting from experts, cluster membership, and access to our upcoming Seafood Innovation Portal. Tracio is developing a new system based on chemical sensors and visual indicators that detect spoilage gases, and with machine learning offer dynamic expiry dates and freshness indication all the way from production to the fridge at home.
Afterwards to round of the day, all the startups had speed dates with investors and industry executives. Read about all startups here and a full article about the winner, Tracio here.
Thanks to everyone who made this year a successful event. If you have ideas on how we can improve the Seafood Innovation Day next time, please send feedback to Solveig Holm, firstname.lastname@example.org.
