Capital Raising in the Seafood Sector

Innovators are vital to solving many of the challenges our industry is facing and startup businesses is important drivers of future growth. We know that entrepreneurs spend a lot of time getting financial backing, and many are faced with the risk of falling short of capital to test, pilot, and bring their innovations to market. The current pandemic has not made capital raising any easier. NCE Seafood Innovation wants to strengthen entrepreneurship and commercialization in the seafood industry and contribute to making fund raising less challenging and more efficient!

Our Capital Program is an exclusive offer to cluster members and is tailored to seafood startups looking for external funding to reach their next milestones. The program consists of three all-day sessions followed by 1:1 advisory meetings. The program will give you increased insight into the capital raising process, enables you and your team to improve your business model and capital strategy, and also gives you the opportunity to meet potential investors. The sessions cover subjects such as how to scale up your business, long-term capital strategy, investor mapping and investor preparations.

The plenum sessions will take place in Bergen on the following dates:

  • 20th of November 2020
  • 9th of December 2020
  • 9th of February 2021

To apply, send the following to pia@seafoodinnovation.no
