If Norway is to significantly increase the value creation in the circular economy, increased collaboration between the agriculture, aquaculture, and fishery industries is vital. This is the background for having four of the national clusters within the blue and green economy; NCE Seafood Innovation, NCE Blue Legasea, Biotech North, and NCE Heidner Biocluster inviting industry, researchers, startups, politicians, and students together at Land Meets Ocean.

Land Meets Ocean brings sustainable blue and green initiatives, projects, and innovators onto the scene to share knowledge and we invite the audience to participate in workshops and debates. This is set up to challenge industries, find good synergies, and facilitate new projects across the sectors for sustainability and innovation. The project has an annual frequency, different formats, and changing locations between Bergen, Ålesund, Tromsø, and Hamar depending on the rotation of the main cluster organizer.
